Home Made Plain Yoghurt

Ingredients
1,2 litres UHT (long-life) milk
150 ml plain live yoghurt
25 ml dried milk powder OR
25 ml non-fat dry milk powder
Method
Warm the milk until hand-hot
Blend the milk powder with the yoghurt in a bowl
Gradually whisk in the milk
Cover loosely with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and wrap in thick towels
Place in a warm place such as the airing cupboard for 2—8 hours until set
Alternatively, pour the milk and yoghurt mixture into warmed, wide-necked vacuum flasks and screw on the lids
Leave undisturbed until set
Store in airtight containers in the fridge
Serve plain, with honey or fresh fruit.
