Bordelaise Sauce 

à la bordelaise — a French term meaning “of or from Bordeaux” and referring to dishes served with bordelaise sauce. Bordelaise sauce is a type of authentic French sauce which hails from the Bordeaux area of France. The sauce is made from dry red wine, bone marrow, shallots and a rich brown sauce.
